How long have you been messing with music? It all takes a lot of time, learning, practice, experimenting. The well goes deep. I'm still no where near where I'd want to be and I'll never feel as good as xyz musicians I love -- I just found methods that worked for me and try to express the things in music I find interesting. You can be as good, or better. It's all relative and subjective at the end of the day. Try to always impress/entertain yourself first.
